About Sydeajah

Sydeajah was born on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, and now resides in South Carolina. Sydeajah is an R&B/Pop singer, songwriter, model, and actress who has fallen in love with music and performing since she was very young and sang in a Calypso contest on her home island, St. Croix, USVI in 2008. She is also the proud COO/Co-Founder of Moving In Silence Entertainment, an entertainment umbrella company she shares with her husband Joseph “JoJo” Williams Jr.

In August 2020, Sydeajah met her manager, JoJo Williams (who would later become her husband), and was then signed to JusJo Records. Sydeajah and JoJo began writing her singles and meeting other writers and producers to work on her first project. In the making of her first project, Sydeajah has gotten the opportunity to work with amazing producers from the East Coast to the West Coast.

In 2021, Sydeajah released music projects such as her album “Diary of Sydeajah” and her Christmas EP “Sydeajah’s 25th of December” along with singles like "Bottom on That Beat" that are on all music platforms, worldwide. She was selected for and later won the WNIR’s “2021 Best Holiday Songs” with the songs '25th of December' and 'Dance With Me (On This Christmas)' from her Christmas EP.

In the year of 2022, Sydeajah has been on the move with both her music and acting as she has released singles such as "On My Way Back Home” and "Invisible." Sydeajah has been granted the title "St. Croix Princess of Song" due to her passion for her home island. Her love for her home island is constantly expressed each time she performs. Sydeajah’s song “On My Way Back Home“ is a tribute to St. Croix as it expresses the beauty of the island and its culture. “When I say U.S. Virgin Islands the first thing people think is St. Thomas, which is understandable since our capital Charlotte Amalie is there, but I want to officially put St. Croix on everyone’s radar, worldwide.”

In 2023, Sydeajah has not slowed down as she spends most of her weekends performing live at various venues and shows. She also released her single "Crooked Letters" along with its sharp and vibrant music video. 

In 2024, Sydeajah took a few trips back to her home island St. Croix, USVI, performing as well as doing radio interviews. Sydeajah has been granted the title St. Croix Princess of Song. Her home island has received her well, for which Sydeajah is grateful as she always carries "home" in her heart wherever she goes. Sydeajah was honored to be a W.A.M. Award-Winner for “Best Pop Song of the Year” (2024) with the song 'Crooked Letters.' She has also been on the grind in the studio, recording more records that are bound to climb the charts such as her single "Which 1 Should I Choose" which is also one of the songs on her new EP "My Journey Begins." The EP shows Sydeajah's versatility in the form of six songs that stay true to the style of "storytelling," which Sydeajah believes is an important foundation for all great music. This belief is shown in all her music to include her debut album "Diary of Sydeajah," her Christmas EP "Sydeajah’s 25th of December," and more…all of which she wrote with her husband JoJo Williams.
This year, she has been recording music in the studio as well as focusing on her acting. As she has been selected and placed in a few stage productions as well as a movie written by Joseph "JoJo" Williams called "The Silence of Music" an inspirational musical feature film.
